They might be referring to a Porsche or BMW.
No-no! Now I'm hearing "You're like a fireworks lighting up the sky".
That's a reference to late model Ford Crown Victorias, the gas tanks.

The Beach Boys have replaced The Doors in the car, but I'm fooling nobody. The weather is still miserable and totaly unsuitable for the beach. Unless you are beach combing.
