Luis Lortie with Quebec Symphony Orchestra.

As for VW, I didn't like the 6th... I prefer his earlier symphonies. Still got three more to go, though.

The VW6 does require a bit of work and of course depends upon what mood you are in, a progression of the composers musical mind

Dug out one of my old favourites Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” but not the orchestral version this was the original version for piano played by Yefim Bronfman it is a truly great recording and a wonderful Pianist.
