Currently in my player, a mini-disc containing the albums: Obsolete by Fear Factory, and Shovel Headed Kill Machine by Exodus. Obsolete is an excellent concept album in a heavy metal/progressive metal vein w/ some electronica influence and a cool man vs. machine story. SHKM is just straight up thrash metal. Really good album though I wish the production was a bit better and the vocalist a tiny bit more diverse.

Arturo Sandoval born on Cuba, had one wish in his teenage years while studying the trumpet from the outside of a shop window. He wanted to imigrate to America and look up the great trumpist player Dizzy Gillespie.

He did imigrate to his personal American Dream. Many years later after leaving Dizzy, Arturo Sandoval made this album in honor of his trumpet teacher and idol. The album is titled "Swingin", GRP Records 1996 feat. Arturo Sandoval/Clark Terry (trumept, flugelhorn), Eddie Daniels (clarinet), Ed Calle/Michael Brecker (tenor saxophone), Dana Teboe (trombone), Joey Calderazzo (piano), Mike Stern (guitar), John Patitucci (double bass) and Greg Hutchenson (drums).

"The wind cries Mary", what have the danes done to deserve this kind of weather. Cold, wet, windy.......

At the moment: "If I Could" by Pat Metheny.

Corno Dolce :cool::cool:

You reach out for my heart my dear admired friend. "If I Could", by PM one of the most beautiful songs ever from his hands, played on acoustic guitar from the album "The First Circle", ECM Records 1984 feat. PM (synclavier guitar, slide guitar, acoustic/el. 6-12 string guitars, syntheziser guitar), Lyle Mays (synthezisers, piano, trumpet, Oberheim, organ, percussion), Steve Rodby (double bass, el. basses), Pedro Aznar (voice, acustic spanish guitar, bells, percussion) and Paul Wertico (drums, percussion)

Thanks mate :grin:
