*Remembering John* by McCoy Tyner.
How appropriate sir Corno Dolce :tiphat::clap:
Except "Remembering John" by McCoy Tyner is related to another John equals John Coltrane.
Though John Mclaughlin actually made an album entitled "Time Remembered" from 1993. But one has nothing to do with the other.
But here on this beautiful quiet peaceful morning, while the sun has decided for a new bright day with no visible clouds, let´s listen to John Mclaughlin and The Mahavishnu Orchestra on the album "Apocalypse", recorded 1973 and released by CBS Records 1974.
The musicians:
John Mclaughlin - guitars
Jean-Luc Ponty - el. violin and baritone violin
Gail Moran - vocals and keyboards
Philip Hirschi - violin, vocals
Carol Shrive - violin, vocals
Marsha Westbrook - viola
Ralphe Armstrong - el. bass, fretless acoustic guitar bass, vocals
Michael Walden - drums
The London Symphony Orchestra - Conductor Michael Tilton Thomas
First song "Power of Love" begins quietly with the french and english horns, John playing acoustic guitar, while Jean-Luc Ponty is warming up on the violin for the crescendo.
