Last night would you believe Mat!
Bill Evans -Everybody Digs Bill Evans.
Bill Evans-How My Heart Sings.
Hampton Hawes - Four! with Shelly Manne, Red Mitchell and Barney Kessell.
Red Garland Quartet- Manteca.
I was actually checking for a laid back piano track to suit one of my video efforts that I make up when walking the dogs everyday.
A dusk setting as we trecked through the darkened forest. Silhouettes the three of us.:)

Had another session and came up with 'Blue Monk' -Thelonious Monk.
A lovely Hampton Hawes track - 'Like Someone In Love'. (Aw shucks!)
and another that suited the mood I was looking for - 'That's All' by trombonist Benny Green.
They seem to be atmospheric for the aforesaid occasion.
If it pours down rain, which is a certainty, I gave 'Stormy Weather' a try out by Duke Ellington and Ivie Anderson.

Stu, I really think the two of us should go to a jazz club one of these days. With our highly sophisticated tastes in music, I think we would enjoy pretty much the same repertoire :D

I just had an idea. How neat would it be (or have been) to have Bill Evans and Bill Evans record an album together? :D

Couple of suggestions stu, clips from 2 tracks I used in the whoozis thread,

Mel Powell, "Whats new" and Marty Paich "Dools Blues"

The Mel Powell track does have some Quinichette sax but you should be able to cut and paste or loop to get the duration you need if the sax is not suitable.
