hi steve,been listening to sun ra for years,at times, a little weird,but other times especially when playing standards he creates some fantastic music.i love that rhythm section,swinging and pushy.look on you tube for his versions of some popular standards,great music. gord

@ Gord, I listened to both Sun Ra works, and enjoyed them both; the second piece reminded me a little bit of Mingus and was a little Monkian as well, at least in its beginning.
