What jazz have you been listening to today?

Hi, Teddy. Just wondering, to what Coltrane works were you listening, and did they succeed in helping ease your mind?

Steve I sometimes flip in and out of Youtube or Spotify looking for tracks that really grab me, then ***** well forget what they are because I have not written them down. This tends to cancel out any soothing I may have experienced.

Uh, I woke up at five thirty this morning, feeling so alert,
I put on a CD I just got with John Coltrane's quartet backing up Johnny Hardman, a jazz vocalist,
the only such Coltrane output, mellow ballads.
I jammed along on my $250 retail, Art & Luthier acoustic guitar for over half an hour,
and then had a hot bath and went back to bed.
Fortunately, no stage lighting was lit.

Hey! I was going to type "Stan Getz".

I just bought some CD's at a yard sale, and Stan Getz with Joabim is one of them,
the album that gets credit for introducing what became a South American craze,
"The Girl from Ipenema", and all the sambas and tango, merangos and little latinettes.
