Chris Potter Underground live at the Village Vanguard fascinating

Welcome here at this most addictive thread for jazz connesseurs and other feinschmeckers of jazz. Great to see you dig Chris Potter (born Joseph Christopher Potter in 1971 in Chigaco, Illonois). Rare for a saxophone player to cover the tenor,- the soprano- and the alto saxophone - all of them, but he certainly does. He can also play the piano. And what a career he has had so far.
I don´t know the one you mentioned abowe. Please elaborate on the recording label and the year of release and also please the musicians, he plays with?
I only have CP´s "Unspoken", Concord Records 1997 feat. CP (tenor and soprano saxophone), John Scofield (guitars), Dave Holland (double bass) and Jack DeJohnette (drums) and CP plays the tenor and the soprano saxophone on two other albums, I have by Steve Swallow (el. bass) titled "Deconstructed", Watt Works 1997 and "Always Pack Your Uniform On Top", Watt Works 2000.
I believe his international career began, when he was invited by the drummer Paul Motian to join PM´s band at the time - The Electric Be-Bop Band - in 1993. He plays majesticly on the album "Flight Of The Bluejay", Winter & Winter 1995.
Chris Potter received the Danish Jazzpar Prize for the year 2000.
