Thanks gord. A great clip. It is one of the only pieces I can sing all the way through without struggling to remember the words.

Diana Krall - Live in Paris. One of her best albums, IMHO.

Thanks Steve, I will have a listen. Did you try Esbjorn Svensson plays Monk? His interpretation.

More EST on spotify. Almost covered everything they have. It is also giving me a deeper appreciation of T Monk.

Teddy, hi. I will check out your suggestion of Svennsson playing Monk. Please let me know if you were able to access the youtube link I provided for Monk on 1-10; I'm still a little unsure--as it's my first attempt to post and share a link--if I did it correctly. Again, please forgive me for my blue fax paus-- isthis shade any better? Today I heard Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter :The Best of The Blue Note Recordings.

Sarah Vaughn singing Stormy Weather. Very appropriate.

Steve any dark blue will not show up for me on a blue background. Same with dark green. Default (comes out as white) or yellow is certainly best for us poor buggers with poor sight. I managed to cut and paste your link, thank you. On youtube there is a box marked share which should allow a direct link if I remember rightly. Click on it and once the box is filled go to file, copy click on your thread message and file, paste. As below

pee wee russell-ask me now-impulse. russell started making modern records just before he died, and they were actually quite good. this is one of his better ones, only his die-hard dixieland fans could hate this. gord
