WOW Ms. Margaret - that was a fascinating read about your parents working at Bletchley Park and knowing Mr. Turing.

Yes, but for many years they never spoke about it, it was still considered a secret.

Now of course everyone knows what went on there.

yeah, I've just been on the phone to a dear friend of mine who lives in London to wish him a happy birthday, it was about 10pm there when I phone. Funny really, 8am Sydney = 11pm England, does my head in. And, from what I gather, it's humid and around 22 celcius in your part of the world?

Yes it is, we had a bit of a breeze today here which kept the temp down a bit. I think it was a tad hotter in London.

There are debates on where and when popcorn was “invented”. Some reports have it being as far back as the 1500’s. Most reports talk about 1948, when ears and kernels of an early corn variety capable of being popped were found in an archaeological dig in a New Mexico rock shelter known as “Bat Cave”.

Chocolate is another food group. The word “chocolate” comes from the Aztecs of Mexico, and is derived from the Nahuatl word xocolatl.

A Gecko uses the Quantum Dynamics phenomenon called the *van der Waals* force in its fantastic ability to scale walls and clamber about upside down - such a lowly creature endowed with such abilities.

van der Waals forces include attractions between atoms, molecules, and surfaces. They differ from covalent and ionic bonding in that they are caused by correlations in the fluctuating polarizations of nearby particles, which is a consequence of Quantum Dynamics. However, it should be noted that Teflon is a material which has shown that it prevents Geckos from getting *traction*.

And you'll need to be traveling at more than 11.2 kilometers per second = 40,320 kilometers per hour to break free of earth's gravity.

Somewhere in Colorado there is a snow igloo in the winter. The owner
uses it as some kind of resturant or something.
