The nights are still chilly in the Montreal area, but days have been comfortable and clear. Range about +5 to +18... Generally great for the final garden cleaup.
Thanks for the clouds and rain in return - much appreciated.
Currently @ 4:30pm, the clouds are moving in and rain is likely. Temp was over 100° and has just fallen almost 20°. This is so untypical for May or June ... we never get rain like this until the monsoons in July.
Yesterday was cold, wet, and miserable. But today is a complete turnaround. It's 85 in the shade, great breeze - and probably going to get a bit hotter before the day is out. The forecast is for fine weather over the next four days. (Hmmm - take that with a grain of something or other).
It's 2pm now and 70°F ... quite different from the 103°F it was 3 days ago. All the trees are gleaming in in a pretty green with droplets of water hanging from their tips from the mostly rainy day today. It could rain all day, everyday, and I would be perfectly happy as I was when I lived in Washington state.
A fine day today. Low of 57, high of 87 - the sun must have been hitting the remote in the afternoon. The actual high was probably about 75 at most with low humidity and a very light breeze.
Too freaking hot (again) here - back up near 100° and dry as a petrified tree.
The nights are wonderful though ... low 80's - after dark when running about town in the car with all the windows and sunroof open is just divine.
Today it was 80 degrees with 79% humidity. You can ring the water out
of the air and it has rained so much that places are flooded. I hope things
dry out. Otherwise it's like walking into a steam sauna when you go to
walk outside.

Likewise, Judy. We've had a heap of showers over the last few days, sometimes heavy. Everything is damp. No flooding that I am aware of though. Maybe we'll get a nice weekend; who knows.
Same here around Montreal. Drizzle sometimes, cloudburst quality at times. But quite cool. I think the highest temp we have had over the last week was about +15C. The forecast is about the same for at least two more days.
The gloomy, damp, and cold weather seems to have moved off in our area. Temps are now ranging from 50 to 70, and clear skies. Downside is the mosquitos have finally arrived.
63 and sunny. I'm going to the community garden to get my spot ready for planting. It's my first season having a spot in the garden and really am looking forward to it. No chemicals are allowed...how cool is that? I like the concept as I used to buy ladybugs and have them shipped to me to control aphids and the like in Florida. Glad the rain stopped but everything is soooo green and colourful. And the trees are beautiful.
BTW, the Montreal Opera is being shown on the jumbo screen at Place des Artes tonight at 8pm. We're going to experience it. And the main street in the village is now closed to traffic for 10 weeks and all the cafes and restos have wonderful outdoor seating. It so looks like Paris. Geez, this is the best place I have ever lived!
