Gord, I really enjoyed listening to Sanders' take on this piece. Thanks so much for sharing it. I still enjoy the original with Trane and Tyner, but this interpretation is very interesting indeed.

I'm keen on Anita O'Day and surprisingly so is my wife.I have the 4 disc Properbox set among quite a few other CDs.
I especially like the Plays Cole Porter CD with Billy May.
As I write I'm listening to Wynton Maralis playing "Trumpet Voluntary".
I didn't realise he was such an accomplished Classical trumpeter alongside his jazz talent,
