What classical music did you listen to today?

Some Vivaldi and Saint-Saëns.

Leighland, I love the Christmas Concerto by Corelli, especially the 2nd movement. It's really boring to play if you are not one of the soloist, though.

Aloha Art Rock,

Yeah, its hardly ever programmed at the Classical Radio Station in the Islands.

Just listened to Snegourotchka by Rimsky-Korsakov.

Organ, Martin Schellenberg playing the Wimborne Minster organ, particularly liked H. Heron Voluntary Nº 8 in G and T. Dubois Toccata in G, first time I heard them.

Barber's gorgeous Knoxville Summer of 1915 by Dawn Upshaw.

If I ever would be able to make a list of the best 100 classical compositions of all time, this one would be in it.

*Mandel's Messiah* - Oooohweeee! Now I have heard everything :grin::grin:

Yes, Ms. Judy meant Handel's Messiah.

*Vesna*(Spring) by Rachmaninoff.

Having just enjoyed Richard Goode playing Beethoven's Piano Sonatas Nos. 13 and 14 ('Moonlight'), I've now made the somewhat incomprehensible switch to the first volume of Frank Bridge's complete orchestral music on Chandos.

The music just played at the wedding of my Lady and I, which consisted of Choral music before and after the actual wedding portion. Selections from Rachmaninoff's *Vespers* and Cesar Cui's *Velichit Dusha Moya Gospoda.*
