Beethoven's Sonata No15 in D (Pastoral), sonata No3 in C, Sonata No24 in F sharp and Sonata No30 in E – live this evening at the Royal Festival hall in London, played by Daniel Barenboim.

Stunningly, wonderfully good. The best live classical performance that I have had the privilege of experiencing.

Moonlight sonata by Beethoven played by Wilhelm Kempff.Kempff makes a couple of mistakes in the last movement(The guy had Parkinson's disease after all).However it still is the best performance i have ever heard.By far the most expressive.

On topic – I travelled to work this morning with the sound of Beethoven's 5th piano concerto in my ears – Mitsuko Uchida, Kurt Sanderling and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Finally, I got "The Infinite Second" where you improvise and record in the Riga Cathedral, built in 1215-26 performing on an organ built by E.F. Walcker in 1882-83.

Wow Sir Fredrik , that must have been awesome and also recording with a symphony orchestra.

The organ has 124 registers, 144 ranks (the one in my local church has 24 ranks) and 6718 pipes and finally 18 fixed combinations and General Crescendo.

In fact it´s great music. Very different from what I have ever heard before, however one organ player strikes me. Captain Nemo from the Jules Verne novel/movie (Ha-ha), he had a great organ too. But nothing compared to this one in Riga, the largest in the world in 1884.

Great organ Sir Frederik, I am realy satisfied that I took the chance to listen to this awesome album However something is wrong with my typing.
