Uh I am in danger, and I dare not

but of course you mention some from the PR department:eek: (DG and Columbia), there is also a George from Decca and a Benhard from Philips and so on. Well I like some of their records very much – OF COURSE. ;)

My intension: Let us not forget the great musicians who plays and make the music lives in other parts of the musicworld. They has so much to offer.....

and as and example: Now plays the Chech Philharmonic and Paul Kletzki the 1.st and 8.th by LvB, what a marvel and naturally flow – and orchestral playing. My old Supraphon vinyl still sounds very fine.:D

I agree wholeheartedly.Jochum and Kempe were great masters and so was Kletzki...At least we know our music and enjoy the legacy of these great musicians.

OT.

I visited Wroclaw in 1990 as a member of an amateur choir. I remember a City with many cultural buildings, and a marvellous concert hall in Leopoldinum, where we made a concert. For several years we had at that time great friends in Wroclaw.;)

Back to the thread: Fine performances of Martinu's cello concertos.

Hello Muza,

Richard Strauss was such a masterful orchestrator. He made it seem so easy - - I mean, just take some time and study a conductor's score of "Ein Alpensymphonie" or "Ein Heldenleben" - WOW!!!

Cheers,
