In 1982, Larry Walters tied 24 weather balloons to his lawn chair in Los Angeles and climbed to an altitude of 16,000 feet.

As an iceberg melts, it makes a fizzing sound because of the compressed air bubbles popping in the ice.

Hmm, I've tried to disproove this without success. LOL

However, I reckon if I dislocate my shoulder and elbow joints ... (yikes!!!)

It can be done CT64 :tiphat: 75 % of all people, who have read the info, will try to do it, like you and I.

So here´s the right method:

How to Lick Your Elbow

First of all, it helps to have a long tongue, or a short upper arm will do the trick. This is the easiest way to lick your elbow... the more advanced way is to just prop your arm up, bent, near your face. Not all people can do this,.

Steps
  1. Lie down on your stomach, with your arms in front of your face
  2. Bend your right or left arm so that your forearm is pressed firmly on top of your biceps.
  3. Pull your arm closer to your face, resting your chin on your forearm.
  4. Stick your tongue out and down, aiming towards the right or left arm, whichever one you decided to use. Try to wiggle around if it helps.

Tips
  • If you cannot see or feel if you are actually licking your elbow, put an edible substance, perhaps salt, sugar, lemon juice, etc. on your elbow -- if you taste the substance you know you're licking it. You can also ask someone to watch, unless you are afraid you might be embarrassed if your attempt fails. You can also take a picture to see.
  • Don't get frustrated if you can't do it, it's a very rare trick to do.

Warnings
  • Do not forcibly pull your elbow closer; if you feel any pain, you should probably stop. Your tongue is bound to feel overstretched after this exercise, this is normal, it will stop shortly after you do.

Ouch, I am not even going to try to lick my elbow.

The phrase "Often a bridesmaid, but never a bride," actually originates from an advertisement for Listerine mouthwash from 1924.

Google receives more than 200 million search queries a day, more than half of which come from outside the United States. Peak traffic hours to google.com are between 6 a.m. and noon PST, when more than 2,000 search queries are answered a second.
