Cats are soooooooo cool.
Many years ago, when my in-laws were alive they had a black cat, and he loved water.
They had to lock the bathroom door, or the cat would be in the bath with them. And if no-one was watching he could turn on the kitchen tap and lap the running water.

In a cat's eyes, all things belong to cats!
When we come home and find fur on the dining table, the cats tell us that "it wasn't us, it was burglerers."
I also used to have a russian blue that would drink out of the tap. Now we have a black kittie that was abandoned and left by his stray mother in our neighbor's shed. He was hanging by his neck and I could hear him crying for a day. When I asked the neighbor about it, he said that a stray had a litter and that he was feeding the mother until she left with the kittens.
The next day, he came to our house at 6pm in the pouring rain with this little wet black ball of fluff in his hand and said the mother took her kittens and left...but couldn't get this was as he was stuck. He was so close to starving he couldn't even stand. We got him a bottle and started to nurse him and now he is the sweetest, most adorable little guy. but he has a spot on his neck where he was caught that doesn't have any fur. It looks like a white spot. But, he turned out to be our "ambassador" and helped our rescue dogs all get along. He was just what we needed as our russian blue brothers had just died within a year of each other, after 17 years.
If I still have space, I'll post a pic of our current russian blue, Catrina.
