Yeah, Hawk. I think you're right!
Hi Marval and thank you. Indeed, after Mike's helpful link, I am dying to try a crumpet; I just have to figure out where in New York I can find a store which sells it. I guess I'll go on-line and do a search. Wish me luck! Steve
Hi Buchpteclare. Thanks for the tip on where to find crumpets. One question remains, however: what in the hell is "chow-chow"You might find them in the local supermarket - generally near the rolls and muffins. I like them done in a toaster oven with strips of cheese on top, and perhabs some bacon strips added later - with some chow-chow on top. ATB!
Thanks Mat, Tony just aint got it and coltrane at least he has a rough idea of how to work a melody but he will never make it big time, now compare to the bench mark version by a true professional http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33o32C0ogVM&feature=fvw

Hi Corno Dolce and Happy New Year to you and your family. I was just wondering what a "vegemite" is. Might it be some kind of vegetable concoction? Just wondering, that's all. If it is something to eat, I just hope you enjoy it. wk
Hi Colin and thanx for the 411 on marmite; but what flavor spread is that? Is it like peanut butter or Nutella in this country? If I may just make a comment:
In NZ it is the equivalent to Marmite "a spread and a flavouring for other dishes, be interesting to see what it is in Russia
