My last post on this thread.

I don't like the way this forum is going, people arguing about performers they know nothing about, trashing them and their music not even knowing the kind of music involved, and now even complaining about the ticket prices!! This is not a music debate - it is a "Let's get rid of this new chap who has too much to say".
Well, I think having my posts removed simply because they can't be bothered to listen, let alone watch them, may be the last straw.
I will certainly not be looking at this thread again, so any further nonsense will go unseen by me!

You can't have it both ways, I disagree with your view on Rieu and I thought you wanted debate, I am very sorry if you are upset

Andre Rieu - a bog standard fiddle player with an overblown ego and a "mullet" hair cut. His extravaganzas are awful kitsch - awful - but he brings pleasure to his legions of fans who can be seen joining in the singing of "Waltzing Matilda" (in the Australian concerts) with a soprano leading the charge!! Rieu stands there playing a fiddle nobody can hear, with an asinine look on his face.

Oh God, get me a bucket!! This isn't music. As Father Jack would say, "it's gob-sh**e"!!:crazy:
