Like Kromhorn would say, "More blasted sunshine and more heat!" The temps here are at
98 degrees and rising. The high of today will be 105. I'm sure glad I have the air on!

Spent last weekend up in Phoenix ... much hotter there, but did have rain Saturday night while we were at the pool.
Locally, it remains hot, 3 digit temperatures are the norm, but the nights are tolerable, but we still run the A/C, even at night.

Forecast is for more heat ... and thunderstorm activity for the weekend, hopefully. The summer thunderstorms are a fantastic display of lightening strikes, some within 5 miles from the house, and the boom of the thunder echoing off the surrounding mountain ranges. I love the rain, and those storms ... don't like driving in them though.

Ever thought of taking some pictures during the storm, Lars? It can get really spectacular.

Cloudy and warm @ 28°C/82°F, with a possible shower or two later today.

The rest of the world should pray that the drought in the U.S.A. finds local relief.

I'm getting into the overcast and cool weather today.
I feel like I could bike-hike around the world!

Very sunny and hot @ 33°C/91°F. Almost no breeze. Hope we'll get that promised thunderstorm later today...

Just touched 70f today, but quite a bit of cloud around so humidity is a little too high for me.

Though the temps are somewhat lower {mid to upper seventies} the humidity reamains too high--at least for me--at around 70 as well!

Had wonderful (and cooling) thunderstorms with lots of lightening the past couple nights ... daytime staying close to 100°f though ... right now, at 22,35 it is 89° and no storms.

Interesting last couple of days ... the expansion valve on our central A/C system for the house went to la-la-land Friday night. That valve controls how much liquid gas (freon) is able to pass through the system ... it is stuck partially open, so there is a little cooling, but it never gets to the set point. So inside temperatures have been a little on the toasty side - fortunately we have ceiling fans through the house to help move the air.

Thankfully, both Friday and Saturday nights were in the low 70's and we could open windows. It's staying at 80°F inside tonight ... the valve gets replaced on Tuesday (yea). The power bill for having run the A/C unit 24/7 for the past 3 days will be shocking for sure ... but, that's life in the Southwestern Desert.

Only one word to describe the weather lately; great! :)

Thanks heaps for that news ... ...
