Geographic composer abc game

Hi Giovanni,
I'm am out of "N" names too, and I live there (here - wherever) ... I see this compounding once we get into the "B" country. Perhaps we should permit use of the internet as a last resort, and when we do, indicate the source. Just an idea to help keep up the interest here and keep the thread going.
BTW, we didn't determine what country comes next - lots of choices in the letter B. Maybe whomever comes up with a name for the letter "Z" gets to name the "B" country, etc etc. Anybody else feel free to chime in here. :smirk:
In the meantime, I suggest that we accept Naiomie's "N" entry and push on to "O"

Edgard Varèse - Yet another non-American American. :grin: Acceptable? I`d been listening to part of his 'Density 21.5' recently. I quite liked it.
Btw, acc- If you had said as a hint for the O composer, 'think of a Canadian beer', I might have gotten it. And I don`t even like beer.:grin: (Not sure that beer brand still exists though.)

Well, once we've accepted Rachmaninov and Tcherepnin, I guess Varèse is OK.
As for the beer - well, I'm Belgian, so that's beer enough for me!

For "X" I am quite stumped ... searched hither and yon even after :banghead: , I have come to the conclusion that there is no "X-whomever" composer of American origins.
I would imagine that the absence of composers names that begin with certain letters in other countries will also be equally hard to find, if not nearly impossible.
How does the concensus of the group feel about matters such as this?
