Kristin Mellem (born March 21, 1965) is a Norwegian musician (violin), composer and conductor.

Rikard Nordraak, Norway (1842-1866)
Close friend of Grieg. Died of tuberculosis at age 24.

Johannes Ockeghem (also Jean de; surname Okeghem, Ogkegum, Okchem, Hocquegam, Ockegham; other variant spellings are also encountered) (c. 1410, Saint-Ghislain, Belgium – February 6, 1497, Tours, France) was the leading composer of the second generation of the Franco-Flemish School. Ockeghem is often considered the most important composer between Dufay and Josquin des Prez, and was one of the most famous composers in Europe in the latter half of the 15th century.

At that time, Belgium was actually part of the Netherlands.

Larry Pruden (1925-1982). I have his Harbour Nocturne, inspired by the city of Wellington.

I couldn`t find a Q composer from an N country (that sounds a bit weird); if someone finds one, feel free to post it. Meanwhile,

Ernst Reijseger (b. November 13, 1954) is a Dutch cellist and composer.

Jostein Stalheim, Norway (b. 1960) Accordian soloist and composer.

Geirr (Nils) Tveitt (October 19, 1908–February 1, 1981) Norwegian composer of the 20th century. Apparently there is a certain amount of controversy surrounding this composer?

Largely forgotten as a composer on an International scale, Valen is still well known in his native Norway. He also studied organ and composition in Oslo.

Gillian Whitehead (1941), New Zealand composer who studied under Maxwell Davies. I have her Resurgences, inspired by the volcanic activity of NZ.

Well, it appears that there are sufficient entries for either Poland or Portugal, but for the sake of fair play, let's use both as the next countries ... ok?
