What a beautiful galaxy! Have you viewed my thread on astronomy?
I have one waiting for someone to answer it.

Hmm. Could it be "Galaxies" by Urmas Sisask? I know you mentioned that work earlier in this thread. I haven't heard that one.

Or is now the time for Holst's The Planets? lol

It's a good hint! Olivier finished his great work, Des canyons aux étoiles, in 1974. I've got the right date, the stars. Is it enough?

Lets see now: Gilbert & Sullivan's *Kismet*, Rimsky Korsakoff's *Scheherezadeh* spring first to mind...

Ooh, very interesting work there! Quite a perspective.

I have to agree with CD about Scheherazade coming to mind...

Scheherezadeh was the first thing on my mind.

P.S. Judy, I dont think those are Native Americans.... ;). I always knew the story of 1000 and 1 Nights as Middle Eastern/Central Asian type of story. That was not exactly true in the movie that I have rented (i think called either Arabian Nights or 1000 and 1 Nights) and I think I read something like that on the random facts thread - one of the main characters in one of the stories was Chinese :confused::confused: (although he was in Samarkand). Anywho, not important

This is a dreamy looking pipe organ that looks almost like the one
at my church but this one is much bigger and looks a bit like the
sanctuary too!

How about this one?

No, no one? I'll give you a hint - this picture shows a part of history described in this work of art...

About Corno's next submission - no idea...what I saw is an iceberg

Hi Muza,

Look a little more carefully - you'll see a Cathedral in the center of the canvas - Alright, a hint: The piece was composed in 1931.
