which is your favorite musical film?

Phantom of the Opera and Sound of Music 2 favorites ..like many of them.

The only stage musical that I have been to was in 1964 in London "Stop the world I want to get off" with Anthony Newley.

There are so many to choose from! If I had to narrow it down, The Wizard of Oz is probably my favourite followed by The Sound of Music and then Hair. Hard to choose but those would probably be in the top 3...

The sound of music was the last film that I saw must have been in the 60s.

I know this is a cheat, but The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) is practically nonstop music by Bernard Herrmann so that I almost consider it a musical. The same could be said of Vertigo, also 1958, where music becomes foreground.
