sir sunwaiter :tiphat:
:banghead::smash::devil::devil:
Having just spent 90 minutes making a list with references to individuals, groups and record labels for you personally on Scandinavian top-of-the-pops jazz musicians, beginning with Norway, then Sweden, Finland arriving to Denmark to Alex Riel (drums) and suddenly everything of my hardcore Saturday morning typing disappeared from the screen, before I could do anything at all.
Shouting the most profane illmanered words in my extended danish vocabulary at this typical rebelious PC of mine, thinking seriously of throwing it out the window (had I been able to lift the damn thing) I give up for today.
Sorry sunwaiter, I just have to wait. Perhaps the teaching here is, do not do this on a Saturday morning???
So humiliated once again by this worthless pile of revolutionary metal. :devil::devil::devil:
Back on topic:
My offer for you, another Eliane Elias album "Around The City", recorded by RCA Victor Records 2006.
Contrary to the other four new albums by Eliane Alias, at least on my CD shelves, she plays many other keys than just piano on this album.
The musicians:
Eliane Elias - vocals, piano, fender-rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond B3 organ and synthesizers
Peter Scherer - synthesizers
Randy Brecker - trumpet
Oscar Castro Neves and Vicente Amigo - classical guitars
Adam Rogers or Andre Levin - acoustic and el. guitars
Marc Johnson - double bass
Paulo Braga or Gene Lake - drums
Paulinho da Costa, Gilmar Gomes, Pedro Martinez and Pirana - percussion
"Oyo Como Va", written by Tito Puente, the well known SANTANA song in a quite new edition on this album, which goes for Bob Marley´s "Jammin´" as well.
