Brought to you live this wednesday morning the brazilian inspired music by a beautiful lady with an incredible voice significant to her, known throughout the international jazz scene for many years. Her name is Flora Purim born in Brazil. Flora Purim has been singing jazz, samba and bossa nova music for more than 35 years, post her own breakthrough with Chick Corea & Return To Forever in 1972 on "What Game Shall We Play", ECM Records and the next year on the album "Light As A Feather" released by Polydor Records also with Chick Corea & RTF.
On this album "Butterfly Dreams" she recorded with her husband Airto Moreira, a long time well known drummer and significant percussionist known from severel bands of Miles Davis´ in the late 1960-1970´s.
