this album is one of my latest coltrane buys. i now have 26 coltrane albums.i think i am becoming obsessed with the music of this genius, and i want all the rest,even the way out stuff like om and ascention.the above is a masterpiece, listen and see if you agree.gord

@ Gord, That is an absolutely soul wrenching and gorgeous piece! Along with Equinox and Mr. Day, it is amongst not only amongst my favorites by Coltrane and Tyner, but ranks on my all-time jazz favorites as well. Great choice from a wonderful album {Crescent}.

This cool and mellow piece by the DBQ; note how Brubeck and and bassist Eugene Wright exchange what might well be termed as wry smiles when they realize that Desmond at one point has kind of "strayed off the resevation" during his solo shot. Ain't that the truth...And I wager that the women have silicone injections just because some airheaded guys who have large "equipment" between their legs want their women to also be oversized on the upper torso - Its so sick........
