I got up about 2 hrs. ago and played symphonies no. 3 and 5 by Erkki Melartin. He is in my estimation a very underrated composer who deserves to be heard in the concert halls world-wide. He was a Finnish composer who wrote in the early 20th century. I will be talking more about him in the future. I think he rivals Sibelius in creativity! I wonder if anybody else has heard of him. His melodies stay in my head for days at a time! definetely a composer to check out if you like late-romantic and 20th century music.
