What Blessings Did You Have Today?

Finally got electricity Saturday evening when we came back home from Church! (last night). In the middle of the night I woke up and fumbled for my mobile phone flash light to go down the stairs to go to the bathroom. I was already at the door of the bathroom when I realized that the light takes just a flick of the switch! :D I guess 2 weeks of candlelit house developed the habit. I laundered the colored clothes by hand instead of using the washing machine.

I have 6 blogging opportunities for http://ceefive.com and am still working on the last 3 which will add $$ to my PayPal...still got the house rent (3 months now) to save for. :)

Yay for C5!!!

My blessing for today is that I tried to make some things for my cousins' little girls and I think they turned out OK.

I made some glass tortoises, ladybirds and some pretty weird anemones. Haven't seen the girls for ages and don't know what they like. I'd post a photo, but my photography is worse than my dabbling with glass!

Would love to see them! Am sure any point-and-shoot cam will show your craft good enough without subduing the art in it! :)

Glad you have electricity again C5. Those glass things sound good Vicki.

My blessing for today, I have had a nice peaceful day.

If God wills, the housing inquiry I got today will turn into a sale. The inquiry, being end of December, is unlikely...and she needs the house soon and will pay cash for the downpayment...It's just a small house but it's still a sale, if ever. :)

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Even with the rotten market, we managed to pull off a sale last December. We gave the house away, but now it's someone else's worry.

Have faith, it'll happen.

Thanks, Stephen. :) Actually I did not move for the whole year. Now when I got back, just a week ago, I'm having positive results (even during the leanest month). Yes, faith is something I'm more of than works...that's why i'm trying to have works so my faith will work. :D

Today my blessings were to realize how many friends, both known and unknown to me, I truly have. I would like to send those blessings back and share them everyone two-fold.

-I have a famil that love me.
-I got a new car or Christmas, so I can finally retire the 1972 Chev I've been driving until now.
-I didn't play a wrong note during this mornings service and several people told me they enjoyed the singing this morning.

My wife and I celebrated our first day together as husband and wife - How glorious it is to care fore and be cared for. Yes, there will be challenges in the future - of that we know - but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Congratulations Corno Dolce ... May you both find happiness together for many years.

What music was used for the service - knowing your panache for great organ literature I assume you would have picked special titles.

Dear MIMFers,

Thank you all for your kind messages - It warms the hearts of my wife and I.

To GrandMaster Krummhorn - Since my wife and I are one with the Russian Orthodox Church, the service act is without organ. The choir is the organ and sang only before the service and after the service - like a prelude and a postlude. So, the music is *A Capella* - Selections from Rachmaninoff's *Vespers*, an anonymous composer who wrote *Deva Dnes*(Today the Virgin gives Birth), and Cesar Cui's *Velichit Dusha Moya Gospoda.* The latter two selections can be found on the Cd *Russian Christmas* sung by the St. Petersburg Chamber Choir conducted by Nikolai Korniev.

Cheerio,

CD & Mrs...:tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:
