I hope you don't mind my southern Ontario perspective,
but I haven't seen a walker like this for a long time, mostly used indoors.
You can't sell one around here unless it's motorized.
New chairs are so quiet and fast that's the only close calls I've had on my bicycle or walking on the sidewalk.
Police are ticketing riders who are in traffic or weaving in and out of traffic and parking spaces.
Fast electric bikes beat bylaws by having working pedals, even if you don't use them.

The cane is a monopod (it's metal) for supporting a camera, also serves as a walking pole if needed, the bit at the bottom allows me to hold the bottom down with a foot and just pull the handle up so I can have the camera supported at eye level when standing. Mine is only used out of doors, less as a walking aid so much as a seat on wheels for when I want a break, also to carry weighty camera gear without getting neck ache.

The monopod is a really helpful device. With digital cameras having to be held away from the eye they really come into their own. I used to carry a bean bag which was useful if you wanted to place the camera on an uneven surface.

One reason to always buy a camera with an eye level view finder, even with a monopod, having to hold it at arms length makes it near impossible to avoid blur due to camera shake. About the only way to avoid shake is to use a tripod, or as Teddy suggests a bean bag, supported on a wall, fence or car roof, can also help.

It's too much, last time I checked it cost more £ in UK than $ in USA, and if you tried to buy from Amazon.com you were denied, I'm quite happy using Picture Publisher, the last version was released in about 2002, still does all I want so why change, I downloded it for $23 Aus.
