Oh, that looks just like Carrie (before the movie), the dog of my childhood! She would jump in and fish us out of the surf until she was exhausted. And then find some rotten fish bait, preferably with maggots, to roll in!

Aren't they all so cute? Margaret, our Isis has the same "duckie" that she love to play with. When she bites it, it quacks.

Isn't it funny what we do with the pets that we love, just for our own enjoyment sometimes? But isn't it wonderful how good-natured our pets are to "endure" our craziness?

Yesterday, while walking home from market, a brindle pit was off leash and came dashing up to us (his owner was a few feet away) and he was hopping and prancing about in snow up to his shoulders. It was obvious he was enjoying himself...and he made us smile.
