Colin I had not heard this piece by Gluck or any other for the matter. I enjoyed it very much! When I have seen it on YT it always appears as Oreo and Edifice in my eyes

Hawk it is a fantastic piece for Flute (blessed spirits) I never tired of playing it, the style in which it ( the opera) is written you would, I am sure, enjoy the complete thing, no wobbly tonsils (which Mike hates) just pure singing and a magical story line. and very very sad
