Is there a market for a recipe swapping thread?

I've been on the receiving end of many a meal at Vicki's place (Turwethiel) and she's a fine chef, that's for sure. It never ceases to amaze me just how wonderful her meals turn out despite my endeavours to get her completely drunk before heading into the kitchen.

Thanks, Margaret for the compliment about Amun. The chicken was great, BTW. Vicki, so nice you get fresh produce from the garden. I haven't thought about summer meals as it is winter here, but I have some wonderful summer recipes to share. Not today as I am coming down with "a cold!" and don't feel like reading or writing much. But in the not too distant future.

Judy, too bad you don't have access to some more interesting greens. Your mom's ham sounds pretty good. I guess you can do about anything with one, especially if it's already cooked or smoked. Very versatile.

David, glad you have someone like Vicki to share some meals with. We still haven't had company for dinner yet and now we have been here for a year. But then, we stay pretty much to ourselves. But as we get out more, I'm sure that will change and we will meet some nice couples or folks to enjoy hanging out with. Maybe one day Rojo will join us for dinner... ?

Will post at a later date. Ciao for now.
