Is John Watt the most exciting general rock guitarist in Magle.dk? I think so.

It's a new beginning, and a first online publishing date, 5/4/2017

http://www.gigsters.ca

The neck plate from my 1964 Stratocaster, the same model and year Jimi Hendrix played,
is at the engravers, adding "semi-solid-body, 2017" to the original serial number.
A right-handed Fender tremolo block, designed to be reversible, is at "Slavi's Machine Shop",
getting sized as original manufacture, and drilled out for left-handed strings.

Not only inventive semi-solid-body guitars, for the first time in my life,
I'll be owning two lefties, with bass strings on the bottom, and the highs on top.
It's more than just nice, to finger upright as an evolving musician.

Can I play you to see if you're real, these are new harmonics,
and what's with all this feel?
Can my amp take the strain, it will never sound the same again.
These frets I sense the quavers,
they never reached up four octaves.
These frets slant left, it's so easy,
to get sustain, and play so busy....

"new wave" sounds solo... just don't say it's bad raggae. 3:01

I'm riffing off "Eyes of a Stranger", by The Payolas.
Insider recording historias can be Pay-Pal provided,
but probably won't, unless you were there,
and are getting paid to remember again.

This is a link to the first finished page in my new music domain,
where I describe how the semi-solid-body guitar was invented.
I'm not suggesting you read it, over four pages of typing paper long.
I'm not recommending any graphics, photos or scans,
because it's just typed out like a book, with a white background.
It should look how a newspaper is put together, when I add more.

I did make a big effort to size if for typing and print paper,
for anyone who wants to print it out.
I already had my first link moment, doing this first in progressive rock.
Who is going to be the first here?
That might get you backstage, if the future keeps uploading.

Even if you're not into "heavy metal" or "heavy mental", as a musician,
a general rock guitarist who is left-handed, sometimes has to get machined,
to get a left-handed guitar.
Here's a couple of photos at Slavis' Machine Shop,
showing a right-handed tremolo block being converted to a lefty.
When I said Slavi means being of Slav, he said I'm a Bulgarian.

This tremolo block was given to me by another guitarist,
who said I could turn it around and use it left-handed.
The tremolo arm hole was drilled and threaded, as were the three tremolo plate bolt holes.
It just needs to be drilled out so the balls of string ends are left-handed,
the small holes already there from right-handed string machining.
This block was almost a quarter inch deeper than my Fender Tremolo Unit,
and needed to be sized, what you are seeing here.
Those are my Sharpie instructions written on the block.
Instead of phoning to see, I walked over and knocked on the door,
in time to take these photos. Slavi didn't want to be in them.

It feels like I'm on the road, carrying myself the same way.
I could say I'm in between apartments, that works, or,
I could just say I'm homeless, and see that as re-invigorating my career.
And that's only because I can't hook up my big screen and DVD player.
Should I put a new set list together,
having so much time to practice singing, out in the lonely forest, and canal bank?
Is this promotion worthy?
If police who are watching me don't roll up their side windows,
but nod and smile while I'm singing, is that an encouraging sign,
or just showing professional training? I'm not sure any more.
I've been singing "Message in a Bottle" by the Police, more than any other song.
"Who's Crying Now" by Journey is a close second.

It could be getting windy with some cold rain, from Lake Erie,
and I could be standing out there in the dark with my thumb out,
knowing I'm homeless, feeling unloved a little...
but there is one burning thought I still have to wonder about,
and that's why is Axel Rose singing for AC-DC? Why, oh why?
That's maybe why I'm going to attack a piece of a public p.a. system,
hearing my first AC-DC with Axel Rose singing lead.

I'm glad I live in a forest, not a jungle.

Whoa! It seems that the homeless, first call Magle.dk General Rock Guitarist, known as John Watt,
can draw a crowd when he appears in a buy and sell store, playing an available guitar,
even if it's an acoustic parlour guitar.
I didn't even take the time to really tune it up, just wanting to play.
Considering a couple of the, uh, out-of-towners, who showed up, even I was impressed with myself.
Did I have much of a chance to play, when it was more about what I have to say?
Yeah, that's like seeing Jimi Hendrix in Toronto and getting the blues for the first time,
because I couldn't afford all the equipment he had, and knew I never would.
Ambition, it's what descends upon you.

Florestan! You didn't type much, but you shot your line through my musical heart.
My life right now flows like a raging river, buffeting me and throwing me all astray.
Lots of legal and hospital action against me, also making me homeless three months ago.
Staying in Niagara Falls at a Days Inn, being in the St. Catharines hospital for seven days,
and coming back to being homeless in my home town, has kept me from anything guitar.
It only is improving my life, and considering what my life was like before,
having a vacation away from being me has only been a good thing.

I'm always working on my fingers, and my singing has become more of a living thing,
so when I hit it again, I expect to hit it big time.
