I wonder sometimes if we could only do the same for our human loves and be right. I know I have faced this situation many times in my life time... It is not easy but right I believe. May God grant you & yours peace Teddy.

Bill, my mother often said that there should be a door you can walk through when you were ready. I believe Switzerland operate euthanasia clinics. If someone wants to leave the party they should be allowed to. If they are seriously disabled then they should be allowed help. I believe there is an old saying in America - they shoot horses, don't they.

Of course the problem with euthenasia and humans is that all the religious nutters of the world have deem assisted suicide (hate that term) illegal.

Having lost my mother to a hideous death by cancer, I now despise the religious nutters whose fairy-tale belief in the afterlife makes people's lives MORE miserable by not allowing people to exit with dignity.

About a year or so ago the conductor Sir Edward Downes and Lady Downes took that door in Switzerland when their infirmities became too much of a burden.

It is a tough decision but I believe it should be an individual choice with no government interference. I regard it as immoral to force your beliefs on others.
