Very cold! Right now it's only 19 degrees and I have to get out in it this
morning to go to church. Burr! I hope I have enough ear muffs, caps,
heavy coat, and cloths to keep me warm until I get there. Yikes!

All we got the other day was some ice pellets - no freezing rain -and nothing wasleft on the ground by the end of the day. Preset temp ia -2C, (about 25F) - and heavy flakes of snow. Forecast is for about an inch of the white stuff and dropping to perhaps -15C tonight. If this slight snow cover lasts it will make a welcome change to the drab looks we have had up to now. However - their long range forecast says we may be back up to about +9C by Tuesday..... Global ping-pong anyone?

White Christmas Coming!

Yesterday morning the temp was a -20C when I woke up. (I think thats about 0F). Either way it was cold - but the sun was shining. Well today we finally got dumped on - about -9C (19:30 hrs) and about a foot of snow on the ground - and a forecast for rain and +9 tomorrow.... Yikes... What will it be? Snow shoes or hip waders? White knuckle driving at rush hour. (No not me - I was hearing that part on the radio - grin).

Versailles was covered ith snow yesterday but it was far from being a storm. unlike in paris, there is still a white layer on the campus. this town is cold and calm.
