Right now I'm waiting for Ike's leftovers as usual. Right now it's 88 degrees
hot and cloudy. The leftovers from Ike and a cold front is to mix up before
reaching Kentucky. Winds are to get up to 40 mph before it's over. Yikes!

Still waiting for Ike's leftovers to show up. Right now we are under some
weather advisery at 84 degrees. I know it's going to do something with
this hot temperatures. Up in the 90's today and almost there now.
I burnt up today with the air conditioner on. Imagine what it would be
like without central air.:p+:cry:=:devil::bawl: My prayers go out to those in
the aftermath of Ike. It tore up Galveston pretty good.

Outside the wind is still howling trees and tree limbs are down. Some
people are without power. I'm lucky I still have my electricity or I
wouldn't be able to tell you what's going on right now. I walked home
today with anticipation knowing that I could wind up crossing a path
with a utility line down and fire coming from the end of the wires.
My walk home was horrific seeing this going on. I set in sunday school
watching a flag pole bend double with out stopping at 40 mile an hour
wind and I walked home in it. I finally got home safe and my lights
blinked off for just a minute and then came back on. Other words
today has been a windy nightmare. I hope things are better tomorrow.
I'd rather have a lot of rain than all of this wind howling.

The weather has quieted down now today has been cool and cloudy with
highs in the 70's. Good weather to go fishing in or take a walk. Last sunday
was a nighmare. If the weather does that again I will stay at home and
listen to my preacher on the radio. I can hear it on a certain station.

On this holy Wednesday morning greyish with some very threatening dark clouds and temperatures increasingly colder than last week. But the good part, Oh! thank you Lord, no indian summer this year. :grin::grin:

people really got back to work here, and the summer is on vacation, though there is still a little bit of sun. 20°C at my lend/return desk. climatizers suck, if you let me use such a liberal word. 11h10m here.

no storm or typhoon, not even a little shower ahead.
