How's Your Weather?

Rather cool and windy, but easily tolerable, comparatively speaking.

Haven't seen any geese yet though, which is odd. Maybe I missed them.

21:10, Tuesday night - still 90° - the refreshingly cool water in the pool was delightful.

Rojo,
The geese ... traveling up from the South this time of the year?

Wednesday - Sunny, no winds, some white cumulous clouds to the south of the horizon, but the weather prophets in the oldest Kingdom of the world have promised a clear blue sky and temperatures round noon at 66 degrees fahrenheit.

Like the American rock band Bachman Turner Overdive sang it 30 years ago, though not about the danish weather: You´ve ain´t seen nothing yet.

Thinking of Master Krummhorn in Arizona, and his usual 90 degrees fahrenheit :grin::grin::grin:

Hej Intet,

We've "graduated" to over 100°F the past couple days - the ice finally broke apart on the Santa Cruz river - but today we have a severe wind advisory with gusts expected at 45 mph. It makes for a little lower temp, but the dust coupled with the pollen just makes my allergies go completely bonkers.

From here we start heading up towards 115° in June, then the Monsoons arrive in July and the humidity level and the temperature run parallel.

I hate the sunshine ... ... that's mostly all we get here.
When I lived in Anacortes, Washington, we got a nice mix of everything ... it has delightful.

That is all we got last summer and things got real hot and dry. I felt
like I was in Arizona and the place I lived in last summer had no air
conditioning. I just cooked while I tried to sleep. Krummhorn
you need to live where it rains every day like I have where
you too would be tired of it.

Dear Master Krummhorn,

"In July.......the humidity level and the temperature run parallel"
WOW! Thanx for helping me to correct my faulty notion of where you live as being an arid stretch of real estate in July.

Cheers,

You are right about that Corno. This place can be just that and boring.
Last summer took the cake. It was hot with little or no humidity and
dry. Everybody's lawn was dying and turning brown to be scorched.
It was horrible. I had to endure a 90 degree house while I slept at
night. Whew!

Glad to give you the new insight to this state which some call "Arid-zona"
Actually, that same humidity/temperature parallel runs through the month of September, and a couple years ago, right up until the last week in October before we got any relief from "sweltering and sweating".

Historically, we are anything but arid during our summer months here - the average monsoon season rainfall is from 11" to 14" of rain over 3 months, triple the amount we get over the other 9 months combined. Now, mind you, where I live is considered to be "high desert" as we are at an elevation of 2,389' (above sea level) ... Phoenix's elevation by comparison is about 975 feet, hence their hotter temps.

Nogales, the US/Mexico border town to our south, is above the 4,000 foot elevation mark and does get snow in the wintertime.

Judy, everybody's "lawn" in the private community where I live is brown all year long ... it's crushed brown rock .

As we speak, no winds at all, the sun is behind the clouds, many more than yesterday but as always in Denmark this time of day, difficult to say. The prophets say it will be sunny with a slight breeze fromt the west with temperatures around 68 degrees fahrenheit.

Like I´ve stated early, it was difficult to say. Now 80 minutes later, the sun from a clear blue sky. This is a weird country´!!:grin:
