How's Your Weather?

Clear skies, very cold -20C (about 1.8 below on the F scale), brisk wind. Not a day to stand around outside without boots, parka, and heavy gloves. (Teeth chattering mode ON! :))) ). In fact I think I'm going to stay inside today.

Buchpteclare! Your Entralacs should be between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie,
a very moderated place for local weather, benefitting from global warming.
However, there has been snow on the ground for the last four days,
even if the sun is shining bright today, melting it all.
Il n'est tres froid.

Overcast, but almost balmy at -3C today. Scattered flurries (my foot)! more like a foot of very light snow since last night - and still coming. Brisk breeze at times. I'm running out of space to throw this stuff. So far this winter we have over 100 Cm on the ground. Keep this up and I will wonder about the claim that another ice age is at hand. (Wry grin - oh my aching back).
ATB!

PS Hi John, we are located about 90 K north of Montreal, Qc. Have a great New Year....

Light overcast, -6C, dry and no wind at all. A little more snow last night - now wondering where I'm going to put it all. My paths to the back door, workshop, and Retreat look like WW1 trenches - a total of about 150 feet in length. The only active wildlife these days is Little Red (a small red squirrel). He is digging tunnels all over the place! One problem - there is simply no contrast so its actually hard to see where the paths are. At this rate I'm going to start digging tunnels soon. (Grin).

We're having what we call 'south of the border weather' when it's "chili today and going to be hot tamale" ...

Actually we are in a cold shift (finally) but still too much stupid sunshine for my tastes. At least there is a good rainstorm in the forecast for the weekend.

10C/50F it is dry, but feels quite cold.

I am with Colin on the poor people of Tasmania, my heart goes out to them.

Overcast, snow flurries once in a while, little wind, -1.6C and heading for above freezing temps today. We just might be heading for the traditional (?) january thaw this week.

As for temperatures above the mid 30s C, I can't begin to imagine how one could survive very long.

Here in the Niagara Peninsula the sun is melting what snow there is.
So far, just over a week of freezing weather.
Polar bear swim fundraisers are really gaining in attendance.

This sounds normal, for Canada.
The Premier of Quebec, quitting, the mayors of Montreal and Laval, quitting,
The Premier of Ontario, quitting, the mayor of Toronto, tossed by a judge.
Politics in Canada, the new normal.
