The kind of weather, excactly what Ms. Margaret wrote except for the rain.

Off topic:

However tomorrow the weather forecast is certain. Maj 1 - the international labour day, in Denmark. A holidays all day with shops closed, but the biggest day economicly for every bar during the year. Fælledparken, a huge park in the center of Copenhagen will be the center for political labour speeches, fabricated for the occation as propagande about socialism, the working man class, which we got rid of in 1989 for good, when the Berlin Wall fell.

People will get drunk and wet, impossible to say which come first. There will be the usual scenes of jealousy, fist fights, drugs sales, the police will arrive - and some will end up at the local police precint - buisness as usual on Maj 1. The forecast says rain and much of it ;) - Surprice, eh?

Yow - 92° (33.3°C) this afternoon ... 20 MPH wind out of the West.

Pretty soon the ice will break on the Santa Cruz river ... a river that flows North from Nogales to Gila Bend (pronounced hee-lah).

Hi Master Krummhorn,

I thought that the ice on the Santa Cruz river had already broken. It seems a bit late to me but I don't discount that it might have been a quite a long and cold Winter which finally lost its grip.

Cheers,

CD :tiphat::tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

It is still really nice outside at 68 degrees. I thought it would be another
cold one when I got out of church.

Corno Dolce,

According to local legend, the ice on the Santa Cruz doesn't break up until the thermometer hits 100° (37.7°C) [3.1e+2 K).

A local TV station has a contest and the person with the closest guess as to the exact date, hour and minute, wins the prize - usually a pair of tickets to some really great theatrical event here or in Phoenix.

It's you know what, here ... ...

Master Krummhorn :tiphat:

We all know excactly what you mean :rolleyes::lol::lol::lol::lol:, thank you so much for once again reminding us, how lucky you are at least about the weather in Arizona. But at least you have the decency not throwing it directly in our faces, until your latest post:

(33,3 Celcius) you wrote. Well, from the wet and windy Denmark this morning, I am happy for you, like I´ve stated it before, you have deserved to be blessed. ;):D:)

I think we are getting into some pattern here - relatively warm and sunny days, and crazy cold windy nights. The wind is so loud and scary, it knocks over benches and some small trees outside of our apartment.

I wonder if its so loud because we have construction going on, so its a lot of open space. Its really freaky. I've always been a huge fan of windy weather - mostly because of the sound of shaking trees and leaves - Its beautiful. But this is more like howling from some horror movie ;)

Hi Muza,

There's actually open space in SF? Last time through your beautiful city (Sept) I experienced wall to wall buildings. The most open space I saw was when going down Lombard Street. Perhaps there are outlying areas beyond the central city?

Intet,

Dear fellow Dane, you always fill my days with joy and laughter ... Thanks :tiphat:

Now ... on topic ... today it will be 3.0e+2° K, clear, and to coin a phrase from Marvel: "dull". :nut:

The rain has stopped and things have cooled down a lot. We even had a few flakes coming down earlier, but no accumulation. Phew! Sun's coming out now.

Today, dare I say it dull. Well a mixture, it started off ok, then turned a little cold and then a short burst of rain. But early evening a little bit of sunshine. No sign of the thunder they told us to expect.

haha Krummhorn,

I live outside of the actual city, in San Bruno (thats south of the city), nearby the SFO airport. It used to have a lot of space, but now they have constructed our apartment buildings, and now decided to build stuff around them too - I think its gonna be another apartment building, and a mall - eventhough we have two huge malls literally across the street anyways.
