Very sunny today, 24°C. It's not spring anymore. It's summer:):):)

Hey Krummhorn,

I've been wondering, would it be possible to add this icon ° to the "Reply window"?

Cheers,

It's a beautiful 56 degrees now. It's finally springtime! No swimming
pool yet! But a good walk is always in season.

Hi Mat ...

The "°" originates from the Character Map on my PC ... Alt + 0176 ... Hold down the "Alt" key and then enter those 4 numbers and release the Alt key. Don't know if it works on keyboards in other countries though.

Judy,
Thanks ... I think ... knowing there are more of "me" out there could be a frightening thought

On topic ... just returned from the pool @ 9 pm ... really refreshing, night air is hanging around 68°.

Lucky you with the rain ... :bawl:

We have to wait until Summer for the rains here - then it's coupled with sweltering heat and high humidity ... one is then dryer in the shower with the water running.

On topic:
60° right now going up to low 80's ... the wildflowers are in bloom in the backyard and the bougainvillea is sprouting green branches. Time to start firing up the BBQ for outdoor dinners.

Man it's been coming down in buckets! I don't think you guys want to
deal with flash floods. I don't think you want to worry about
possible severe thunderstorms with hail either.

That's exactly what we get in the summer here ... called our "Monsoon" season ... deadly lightening dancing all over the place, rivers that are normally have a wall of water 8 feet high come roaring down out of the local mountains taking anything and anybody in its path ... it's a fun place to live at that time of year.

Never made it to 80° today ... stopped short at 76° ... delightful.

Well, the yard looks like a swimming pool and the neighbors yard behind
me has a lake in it after such a rain storm with hail. Krummhorn if I could
I would send you this rain. I'm sick of it! Wait until this summer it will be
105 degrees again and feels like Arizona in the middle of a dessert again
without a drop of rain with everything dying and turning brown. I wished
that some of this rain could wait until we acually need it.[disgusted look
smiley]

I've heard some people say that there are only three seasons in Maine: winter, mud, and bugs. Don't you hate such cynical people?!

It's mud season right now.....

I know one thing. If it doesn't stop raining I will need a boat to get to
the mail box tomorrow. Everything is trying to flood now. The weather
channel has us under a red alert on that until tomorrow and more rain.
I wished the sun would come out and dry up some of this
mess.

Krummhorn comments on it raining here in Kentucky. I envy the nice
weather he's getting in Arizona. It stormed all day yesterday and all
night and rained as hard as it could. It's still raining just a little bit.
No wonder that I have a headache with lightening flashing through
the window where I couldn't sleep too good. Everytime I dozed
off it would start thundering and lightening to wake me up. I had
to cover my face before I could sleep. The reason why, I live
pretty close to what is considered Tornado Alley right in that
part of Kentucky just below Evansville,Ind. in the south central
area. So when the sirens start to blow I get a bit weary. We
had a tornado to rip this place apart the same year that New
Orleans suffered Katrina. It was a mess. Still some of the
places I used to go to is no more.

Being in tornado country must be a real nightmare ... I couldn't live there and cope with what you do.

Seems most every region has its weather happenings ... When I lived in California, it was earthquakes, sometimes jolting hard enough to have whitecaps in the swimming pools.
