Seriously though, the desert does have its beauty, and we are getting into the enjoyable weather ... where else can you open all the windows and sunroof on the car in November and drive at night without freezing your buns off?

Pretty well boring late fall weather here. Days of scattered showers, then a day or two of clear blue skies - then back to rain. Temps range between highs about +6C to lows around or just below freezing. No snow staying on the ground - yet. All the wild critters look like they are ready for an extreme winter. (I'm not - grin)..
