Today we had hail. A couple of days ago it was 25 degrees Celsius. And as Rusty mentions, we had snow just a few days ago. We lost power for a few hours in the night when it snowed. Crazy..
One interesting thing this spring has been the number of geese flying overhead. Way more than I remember seeing in the previous years. At one point while driving home from my sister's place, the sky was absolutely teeming with them, must have been in the thousands, maybe tens of thousands. It was stunning to witness. On another occasion, there was a flock that flew very low above me while I was outdoors, and besides all the hooting, there was a really neat fluttering kind of sound (impossible to describe) made by their wings. I don't recall ever hearing the sound before, I figure it must be because I'd never had a flock fly by so close to me.
