Hey! I like the artwork! That reminds me of hiking past Port Robinson bush parties,
only no-one dresses like that. They're not recovering from an ATV crash, are they,
or is the big guy the only one with the drugs. It's hard to tell.
I'm really looking at the artwork, nice colours, almost looking colourized, but it's not.
Before I look for the movie DVD with the name I misspelled on purpose,
trying to type it like I thought it sounds, at least it's not "Broomhilda",
a short and ugly little witch who flew around on her broom, and no-one really liked her.
She had a huge nose with a huge wart and one big hair, an old black and white cartoon.
You say Wagner, it was Jimi Hendrix talking about listening to Wagner as a musical influence,
saying The Valkerie, saying Liszt too, that made me listen to an opera for the first time.
I could see where Jimi Hendrix was coming from, very dramatic shifts in music and lyrical flow.
Not psychedelic tripping over you spacey rock talk, and that included not saying what equipment you were using,
Jimi said some of his lyrics were science fiction, and he sang about the sun, moon, water and stars and other planets.
The Danish movie I got the name to riff offa must be one of the ones I just gave back,
borrowing and buying movies from my Flea Market friend next door, open only Saturday and Sunday,
I give him a little stack of new movies that he and his girlfriend watch, so it was a good one.
I know I can't type the names,
but it's about a village with a nasty kinda witch with a big ogre son,
and the village puts out word and a famous warrior with his men comes to kill him.
Grendel, something like that. That's where I got Groonhild, and Broomhilda.
I've seen a couple movies about this, one a computer animation,
one with Angelina Jolie rising up naked all gold.
Hey! American movies just make me angry when you know the real news.
When the hero got tossed into the ocean, hands reached up to grab him,
because he was swimming back underwater, hands also reaching up to men in a boat.
That has more than just resonance for me.
I feel the need for a traditional Gaelic and Scottish burial,
putting me on a flaming raft and sending me out to sea.
It would be better if I went over Niagara Falls.
