Ottokar Eugen Novacek (1866-1900)
Violinist who eventually migrated to the US and became a member of the Bostom Symphony. Composed for piano/violin and percussion/violin. He died in the US (New York)

Gyorgy Orban, born in 1947 in ?? Hungary. Composer of a Stabat Mater, a clarinet quintet, and Psalms variations.

According to wikipedia, there is no letter "q" (no "x" or "y" either) in the Hungarian alphabet, we move on to "r":

Tihamér Vujicsics (1929-1975) ethnomusicologist and composer. His mother tongue was the Serbian, but he was born in Hungary in a small town near Budapest.

Leó Weiner (1885-1960) He was an educator then turned to composing, producing a great number of works, mostly for chamber & piano.

Btw, I believe there is no x or y in the Hungarian alphabet, so whoever posts "z" gets to choose the next country beginning with the letter "i". :grin:

Franco Evangelisti (1926-1980) Had a specific interest in scientific theories behind sound ... as per: Wikipedia information. His compositions do have some rather odd titles - wondering if anyone ever recorded these works.
