That is somewhat of an absurd situation since proper dental clinics always have means to provide acute pain relief. So the joke really doesn't fly...

ps, I don't have bad experiences with dentists. I elect to have Nitrous Oxide before treatment - then I wake up and the procedure is done.

Remember what Master Krummhorn wrote some months ago, it was a dentist who invented the electric chair.

In Denmark, you can be hospitalised for free for months, you can visit an ordinary doctor for free, with dentists in Denmark you better have a very good contact at your bank, and you may bank on it!!
I still wake up at night remembering, trembling in cold sweat, when my oldest daughter should have her orthodontic brace.

Wow, I hadn't realised just how brave poles were.
In the Uk it is very difficult to find a dentist. We have national health ones but they are far and few, they don't make enough money. Most peple have to pay, there has even been stories of people who can't afford a dentist taking out their own teeth.

Personally I would assume it´s the new upcoming sports at the future Olympics. In stead of hammer throwing, to increase the compition. How high can you throw a truck and keep it from falling down? Seriously, perhaps a hurricane? It does not answer the question though, how can it balance? Look closely and you will recognize, it´s not a trick photo, since the shadows are right and you can see parts of the left side of the truck between the two logs? Strange......

Think for two minutes. For Denmark. A physical doctor in medicine will pass the exams after 6-7 years, knowing about body functions, deceases etc. etc. - our entire body and brain (for those who have this jelly between the ears) and then specialise as a shrink or the family house doctor or a surgeon etc.etc. Probably two to three years more of studying and practicing in a hospital at least for two years, before you can open a practice of your own.
A dentist only have the mouth and teeth to deal with, and it takes the same amount of years 6-7. But no further specialisation.
The house doctor in Denmark will even visit you at home, and all you do is put your signature to a piece of paper, as evidence to the community for him or her being there. You do not receive a bill.
