Well we could reminisce about the old video game classics, like super mario brothers and alex the kidd. Those were the days. :D

Hi Oneiros,

Yah ... those were the days for sure. My son and I would play Mario Kart for hours on end - it was wholesome (and cheap) entertainment in those days when money was extremely tight for me. Recently vacationed where my son lives now, and he still has that game and the N64 - we were able to relive the early days, and it was still just as fun now as it was then. Some things will never change, like that. The good ol' days for sure.

The game that I play most frequently is TextTwist online (broadband is essential).

I occasionally enjoy things like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot and, even more occasionally, a shooter such as Quake. But time and time again I come back to Tetris, which I have on both my Nintendo Lite and my iPod.

I also like text twist. I used to play that as an MSN game.

Does anyone ever play cardgames on the computer either on the net
or by using a CD rom like solitare or poker?

Sometimes while enduring the long waits in the doctors office waiting rooms I will play Solitaire or work crosswords on my PDA.

I used to play Freecell at work in the background while these really long tests were running ... I could "alt-tab" out of the game quickly if any bosses came by ... :nut:

I just played the new and improved Bejeweled 2 and it's really neat!
This version is really beautiful. The game takes you through a blackhole
to the next game instead of breaking the picture apart with thunder.
This is really great. Try it out! Bejeweled 2 on Yahoo games.

You are right on that one. There is a bejeweled orginal and Bejeweled 2.
I believe you might have 2 on your cellphone. The way you can tell is
when you match five at once and get a power ball like jewel.

I think Oneiros said earlier about Alex Kidd - I still have that 'built-in' on a Sega Master System 2 - great fun!

I used to spend (or rather waste) hours on Minesweeper... thankfully I'm over that now.

I know, those games are terrible in a sense that once you start playing, you just keep playing and playing and playing, nothing else. What a waste of time!

For those who like match games. Ever played any of the Jewel Quest
games. After working a certain level the story behind it really gets
interesting. The game has something to do with the Mayan civilization
and why the tribe vanished.

Miss Judy, I have a game on my iPod (yeah, I know, I need to get a life) and it's called bejeweled ... I wonder if it's the same as you're going on about? It's very pretty and involves (tediously) trying to capture jewels, but I got bored and never got very far.
