Elsewhere, (in the jazz/blues thread), I have referred to "Misery and the Blues" by the Jack Teagarden sextet. In this great CD I was knocked out by the trumpet playing of Don Goldie and yet I can find little reference to the player, his story, and any other works. Can anyone help?

Without searching too hard I can think of Lil Harding, Nina Simone and Diana Krall-all pianists, as jazz players.(I am not counting jazz singers). Are there any ladies who have played other instruments, such as, saxes or brass. There must be plenty ?
