What was the name of this movie, featuring an evil genie? The evil genie had brown skin, a beard and wore a turban. It was in something glass, is inanimate at first, but comes to life (in an evil way), where it makes scary noises, scaring the people who see it. The movie definitely wasn't 'Aladdin', as it wasn't set in Arabia. It was definitely a feature movie, and was live action. I don't know what actors and actresses were in it, what genre it was, who produced it or even any quotes from it. The evil genie wasn't even in a lamp. I first saw this movie one Sunday night, in 1993 (though I don't know if that's the year the movie debuted in, or if it was made before that). The channel I saw it on then was ITV.
