The original question of this thread made me cringe since not a single jot or tittle of fact or evidence was presented. Short of taking the *perpetrator* to the *scene of the crime* in order to loosen the memory :grin::grin::grin::smirk::smirk::smirk: how would the problematique be solved?
Just to play along, I'm going to assume the OP means a piece used in movie trailers, since that's where tunes get recycled over and over again.
Two pieces that I hear all the time in trailers are the main theme from Miller's Crossing by Carter Burwell, which is very uplifting, and the movement "Aquarium" from Saint-Saen's Carnival of the Animals, which isn't necessarily uplifting, but gets used constantly in trailers that are trying to convey "child-like wonderment", usually in a fantasy setting.
